Fair Season

Fair season is almost upon us along with the RI 4-H's Foundations annual Golf Tournament.
It is a great time to reconnect so share your 4-H memories, check out what 4-H'ers are doing today and let us hear from you.

4-H again is participating with RI Parks in an effort to get youth active and exploring the wonderful state parks we have. So if your out with your children or grandchildren stop by the 4-H table and say Hi!

Also did you know about RI 4-H's work with Operation Military Kids. Go to www.operationmilitarykids.org and select the state button on the left to bring up a map. The Science, Engineering and Technology Mission Mandate is strongly woven in as military youth learn GPS, make and launch rockets and soo muck more.

The RI 4-H Club Foundation invites you and your family to attend our 1st Annual Fall 4-H Alumni Gathering. Reconnect with old friends and acquaintances and help support 4-H activities in RI. Enjoy a chicken BBQ and lots of activities for you and the kids. Come see how 4-H continues to be successful in Rhode Island. All proceeds from the day will support 4-H activities, scholarships, etc.

Where are RI 4-H'ers now?

Rhode Island is planning a 4-H alumni group. The purpose of which will be to assist former 4-H'ers to make and maintain contact with each other and share their 4-H stories to maintain the 4-H legacy of RI 4-H.
